I am not a lawyer, but doing so is a potential liability in the event that you get into an accident not to mention that it is illegal (in some, maybe all states) for the driver to view motion video while the car is moving. You obviously made up your mind that that is a liability you are willing to accept, and I'm not going to harangue you over that decision--I just want to point out its potential illegality so that the original poster can make a more informed decision.
