I have a theory!( INJECTORS)
The truck is a 04 f 450. the problem was diagnosed as 2 bad injectors. the truck was lacking power. I belive the next problem was the person that installed the injectors. when the new injectors were installed the truck was tested. and a whole new set of problems began. when the truck is started it runs its best at the very begining, which isnt very good. it slugish and lacks power but is a smooth power curve. the more it warms the worse it gets. until its to the point where it obvously missing and shaking and wont get over 750 rpm power brakeing. my theory is that the person that changed the injectors didnt us new seal kits on the injector or didnt torque the to spec. and combustion gas is leaking into the fuel rail. according to what iv been reading. Is there a way to tell if the combustion gas is leaking into the fuel rail? and is there a way to tell if all the injectors got damaged if the combustion gases were escaping into the fuel sys.? I dont work on the 6.0 much and i trying to do a favor for my uncle. I would appriciate any advice. thanks
