We put some oil into it and fired it up while holding the compressor wheel and the engine actually sounds like it's running ok.
We're pulling the turbo as I type. Took the intercooler pipes off, and found lots of oil pooling in the intercooler intake. Not seeing any metal bits, but on turbo, the compressor wheel is as loose as a whore in vegas.
SO my question is, if the oil is the only thing that got into the intercooler, then are we looking at having to replace that? Or get the oil out at the least?
