well just to be clear nothing was out of place attatched to the turbo. What a local turbo specialist said was something like that the reman turbo that had been put in was probably slightly imperfect and my turbo surged which in turn heated it up to the point the turbo wheel expanded then scraped the housing and eventually stopped while the compressor wheel was stilltrying to spin and it snapped the spindle attached to the bearing... I probably am not remembering it right. But his advice? Sink the ship. He gets about 2-3 people a week calling him on these 6.0's. He basicaly said if I replace it, it's going to have to be a reman which will probably go out again in a year or so... He suggested trying to buy a new turbo but there is a 12 week waiting period for the oem turbo... And they don't release parts for turbos until 5 years after first year of production which basically ensures you have to go through ford to get parts. Basically a big sh1tty monopoly...
