Your truck sounds normal to me. I also have an 05. Even with my SCT on extreme street mod. I have never seen boost over 22 psi. Normal highway cruising I see 5 to 10 psi. Seems normal. Unless I am having leaks around those rubber boots that I am not aware of. I do remember that my old 02 had considerably more get up and go, but sadly I sold that ole reliable 7.3 truck.
