Well, since I posted last in this thread, I did buy a new 2008 F-350 Super Duty. I had BFG T/A K/O's installed before I took delivery. Twice within the first 30 miles, I had the Low Pressure light come on. The dealer reprogrammed it. It only returned. The had put 65 psi in each tire. I later found the reset tool in my glovebox. I pumped the rear tires up to 72 psi because the door sticker says 65 front and 80 rear. I thought the rears at 65 were the problem. Well, I ran the truck and the light never came on. I recently lowered the rears to 65 again, and the light (knock on wood) has not returned.
Two things make me wonder. I too, have a 11,400# GVWR F-350 truck, thus the high rear tire pressure listed on the door sticker. Now, I wonder if I lower the rears to 60 from the current 65psi, will the light again come on? I will try it this weekend. I also wonder if the reset tool I have does something the dealers tool does not, and that is why I did not get the low pressure warning after I reset it with the tool that came with my truck.
