Weird though, you'd think it's be the vanes, but as your test proved if that was the issue, it'd be making more boost because they'd be stuck closed. is it as quick off the bottom? or does it act like the vanes aren't moving at all?

Evan,
Yeah it pulls thru the power band great and about mid range (2500 rpms) thats when it max's out boost. Now my boost is starting to drop I barely hit 20 PSI until about 60 MPH after 60 I will mabye get 21 PSI until i hit 80 MPH + then i am lucky to get 23. So from take off it still pulls strong, before even when I had my bully dog on the low setting I would blow black smoke no it hardly blows black only if I am in extreme performance. Now my MPG is starting to go south. With my programer before all the work I had got done my message center would tell me that i would get 20.8 MPG at 70 MPH. But now I do good to get 15!!! My tabs on the intake manifold are pointing up so i know they were correctly installed. The been trying to get the tech I am working with to pull my turbo for inspection. He does not think it the turbo he is leaning more to something that controls my boost is the cause but we are both stumped. I didnt think that the EGR cooler bypass kit would cause low boost, if you think about it I know have more exhaust going to it than before due to no flow thru the EGR cooler. The tech even installed an 04 charge pipe that does not have the scoop to the egr cooler so i get mam exhaust to the turbine. Seems like its getting worse. The only thing the tech and I have not done is install a mechnical boost gauge to verify boost pressure but my truck is starting to feel like its just making a lot of nosie and goin no where.
Thanks for the reply,
David
