guys have put some nice systems in their trucks...i did a little in mine and it turned out okay...some better quality componants and it'll be great..
i put a pair of 10's in the rear doors..pull the panels straight out to remove them...you'll probably ruin some of the friction clips...i coupldn't find them anywhere except the dealer..$3+ a piece..
here's what's inside the doors..bumpy fiberglass..
i ended up cutting some 5/8" plywood and mounted it to the inside face of the doors ...i cut holes for the subs into the plywood and fiberglass...then modified/mounted the trim panels and cut for the subs, using the holes in the plywood as a guide.
i ran 12ga speaker cables from an amp under the second row seat, behind the rear quarter trim, and drilled into the taillight recess'..then i drilled out towards the doors and ran the cables into them..a little split loom and the wires were as hidden as i could get them..
worst part for me has been getting rid of rattles...i installed trim lock around the perimeter of the panels and have run a couple of screws with decorative caps into the plywood backing to hold things tight..otherwise it's clean and sounds good...better subs and a bigger amp are on the never ending to-do list..
