F350 08 mod questions
I need some insight here.... I would love to install this kit i found in a diesel mag claiming huge mileage and hp gains buttttt of course warranty issues are the big drawback. The kit contained the sct tuner, sb cold air kit and dpf delete pipe. People were seeing 5 to as much as 10 mpg gain. Will this set up throw the check engine light to come on or make yo u have warranty issues? I am looking for mileage and perf gains for towing only. Mick you are a great source for the spartan tuner but this other set up sounds good. Also what is the smog issues with these trucks? Are they exempt until 2010? I guess my question is does anyone have this set-up with the delete pipe and live in california and are you happy with it? Does it make it illegal? I am just tired of 9 mpg on the average not towing. I was told that this kit could be removed easily and put back to stock if it had to go to go in for service to the dealer does this sound accurate? Any help would be great
