Testing MAP sensor, intermittant code P2036, wird result.

Hi Folks!

On our 2000 Excursion 4x4 7.3, I have turned up an intermittant Code P0236, for about a year. The SES light lately resets itself (off) and I have, in the past, cleared the code w/ my Actron 9145/9190 Scanner.

TEST RESULT: When I view datastream, at idle, MAP shows 21 " HG.

Engine off MAP 0

when I "T" in 10 PSI air pressure, to the MAP sensor and a auxilery boost guage, Actron reads MAP 59 " HG.

What gives? It seem my Actron is confused, reading vacuum (inches mercury, w/ 10 PSI). I haven't road tested the vehicle w/ the Actron and boost gauge hooked up, YET.

Vehicle runs fine.

Thanks.

CORRECTED CODE ON EDIT to P0236
