I don't have that large of a socket, but I did pick up an oil filter wrench I saw at Wally World to be able to grab the frame fuel filter black plastic lid. I can grab the area with the flat sides and use it kinda like a ratchet, I did the job in about 10% of the time if took me before.

I always save the one I remove from this area and the upper engine fuel filter. I noticed this last time there was a slight variance in the sizing. Is this normal, or not?
