I recently added a pre-pump fuel filter to my 02 7.3 and the unit I found allows me to select elements from 2, 10, or 30 micron ratings in 45, 60, 90, or 120 G.P.H. flow rates. The other features I liked about this filter head was that it has a built-in primer pump with a bleed valve on the top. Should I ever add a second fuel tank, it also has two inlet / outlet ports so I will be able to plumb both tanks into one pre-pump filter. I used 3/8” fuel injection hose with a “J30R9” rating which is designed to hold up very well with diesel / bio-diesel.
