I just had the same EXACT thing happen to me 2 weeks ago. I drove it to where I was going. No problems. Went to start it back up and just like your problem. Shell start and idle. But no gas or guages. Autolight did not work, either. My shifter wire for the OD button was broke. Fixed that still same problem. Took it to Ford, I could not find the broken wires. Turnes out I had three other wires broken somewhere down the column. And according to ford a broken connector. You got me on the connector. But thats what they said, its been fine since they fixed it. I really needed a wiring digram.
