Maintenance is everything on diesels in general and doubly so on 6.0s. If you maintain the heck out of, just religious with all of the scheduled stuff and stick to OEM filters and correct fluids, they can be great trucks. I bought my '05 used recently and am doing all of the 60k mile stuff + a couple trips to the dealer for free warranty repairs. Just got a new FICM last week, original one was putting out low voltage and threw a code. Runs beautiful now, just whistles down the road.

I miss the indestructible nature of my old 7.3 but those trucks have issues as well w/ electronics/control modules/sensors/etc...
