I've had the ATS housing a couple years now w/ the stock wheel. It whistles loud from 9-12 psi and goes away. I believe the WW has alternating fins reduced in size as a fix for the surge so I don't think it can move as much air as stock.

I'd rather have it quiet than hear that deafening whistle all the time. the 3 psi range is all I need.
