You hadn't changed the fuel filters for 51,000 miles? Wow! The dealer did you a favor by warrantying your HFCM. It is your responsibility to know and follow the maintance schedule. Maintance is not free unless you paid for some kind of aftermarket maintance package when you bought the truck. Sorry to say but expect some injectors to take a crap before winter. There had to be a major restriction through the HFCM, plus all of the water and debris that built up in the HFCM. Wether or not it's warranty, who knows. I know probably 8 out of 10 dealers would have made notes everywhere so when your truck shows up for a warranty repair, when they write the truck up they see there was a lack of maintance and vehicle abuse. Sounds like they are taking care of you. Stop complaining!
