The way the WW gets rigde of surge is by moving less air. I had the WW on my 01 to fix the turbo surge. I have 4" turbo back, 6637 intake and dp tuner and empty I would have turbo surge the wheel fixed it but my EGT's where higher 75-100+. Just this past week I put the ATS ported housing housing and stock wheel back in it and pulled 11K, 600 miles west across windy NE at 80 mph with no surge at all and my EGT's were steady on 900-975 depending on grade and wind gust. I still plan on doing the 1.0 exhaust housing to bring the temps down a little more.
Any body that needs a WW I have one for sale.
