I'm still working, slowly, toward my conversion.
I don't even have a shoe string, it's more like a thread
I've managed to convert an acme juicer for use as a centrifuge.
I already have two tanks (on a van) with the stock Polack valve.
I've ordered a filter and base for the WO tank.
I've been planning where to move the filters, valve and (eventually) electric fuel pumps.
Currently the valve is near the front tank and on the inside of the frame 'beam'.
Ford placed a lot of stuff inside that beam.
It looks like I'll have better luck if I move the filters and valve to the outside of the beam where there's nothing in the way and it can be much closer to the engine.
Here's the thing, if I move the valve to the outside of the beam, it will need to be flipped over so that the fuel line connections will be pointing in the right directions.
In other words, instead of the line connections being at the top of the valve, the valve will be rotated so that they are on the bottom.
Will the valve work ok being upside down like that?
