Dealership is screwing me.
The dealership is not the reason the filters weren't changed. The customer, including myself has an owners manual & a maintenance schedule provided by Ford. Dealers do recommend needed service from time to time but dealers also have more to do than that. I worked for Ford dealers for 15 years as a parts & service manager. We had more to do than sell service to everybody that came in the door. Being paid on commission prompts most service advisers to try to sell service but no service adviser can catch everything. Most dealer shops are very busy with customers, warranty concerns, FMC, technicians and other concerns during a tremendously hectic day anyway. The fuel filters are maintenenace items. If the customer did not specifically request the fuel filters be changed when requesting service it is not the dealers fault. Is it the dealers fault if your tires wear because the dealer didn't rotate them when you came in for service??
