Change the fuel filters every 10K? Seems more often than necessary, but I'll comply if that's the consensus.
Yeah, the boost sometimes just doesn't come on. I note it immediately, because the EDGE chip chirps a warning that EGT is soaring into the 1100s. My truck normally like to cruise around 800-950 on EGT. When the boost fails me, I just back off the pedal, get back into it and I get boost back. Sometimes I have to feather that pedal 2 or 3 times to get boost back on. It's a strange way to have to drive a truck.
For the sake of the argument, I cannot argue with any degree of certainty that the EDGE chip didn't do motor damage to HPOP or STC. But I doubt EDGE, banks, Bully and companies could stay in business building fuel management devices that fail the motor. But I'm in no positions to make statements, just ask questions.
