Who are "they" exactly?? none of the posts or comments in this thread came from vendors registered here or elsewhere for that matter.
I think K&N is way overpriced and overhyped but it isn't crappy either and it gives us all a chance to save money later by not having to buy a new paper filter every other oil change. The biggest problem with a K&N type filter is that most just forget about it and never clean them, either because they are just plain lazy or because they have this false sense that it is a drop-in and forget about it type filter. It actually filters better after it is a litte dirty by blocking more particles. No I don't sell them, but I have been using and racing w/ vehicles equipped w/ it for over 15 years and it was a pioneer in high perf filtration system then and it deserves at least that much recognition, and you don't have to buy it if yo don't want to
