Trust me on this one. Save yourself A LOT OF TROUBLE and just use biodiesel in the 6.9? How do I know this? I've run 50k miles on biodiesel without an injector pump problem.
The injector pump is sensitive to fuel viscosity. While the 6.9 can run on boiled horse pee it seems, the pump can break the pump drive shaft due to running too viscous a fuel.
Despite heating the veggie oil, it's still not going to be as thin as diesel or biodiesel.
If the metering valve keeps sticking, ditch the WVO get into biodiesel and run a can of SeaFoam or Powerservice full strength by either dumping the whole can into the fuel tank or taking off the fuel filter and filling it with SeaFoam or Powerservice.
