2005 6.0l won't start.
As the title states.
It's been sitting about a week, tried to start it today and no go. Turns over like crazy, but won't even try to fire. Has occasionally been a bit slow to start over the last while, nothing too bad, but a bit more cranking than I before, or so it seemed. Of course, it's just off warranty, 163,000km. Figures.
Anyway, from searching, it seems the most common problems for the 05 6.0 are the stc fitting and the ficm. Should there be any codes appear from not starting, or would codes only show up once it was running?
Trying to figure it out if at all possible due to the off warranty thing, can't afford to fix anything too major.
