I am replacing the EGR valve tomorrow, and will likely try to pull the turbo and HPOP fitting and redesigned oil feeder pipe to the turbo (or save up for the International dealership to do the turbo cleaning and HPOP fitting located under the turbo). Have heard that the oil feeder pipe can get clogged and the EGR valve can be easily damaged when cleaning.

Ordered a remanufactured EGR valve for $70 + shipping and expect a refund of $20 when I send back the core from this reputable guy from eBay. eBay My World - hccs2

Not trying to endorse or advertise, but passing along some info that may save you some loot. I work for the state with a salary that is ridiculously low, so every penny counts for me!
