Thanks. Found the Permatex on eBay for $12 + $6 shipping, which is much less than from other companies for special order or online. Surprised that no one carries it locally -- Napa, Grainger, any auto parts stores.

Strangely Permatex and Loctite have the same part numbers (77124 = 8oz, 77164 = 16oz) and come in the same exact bottles (gray plastic with silver top) but different paper label affixed. Thinking it comes from the same factory.
