Instead of the 3500 or 4500 for clunkers deal, the government should just allow $1,000 as an additional voucher for ANY new vehicle, private or for business purposes, with no limit on how many vouchers could be used. Imagine how many more new vehicles could be sold. What about the "clunkers" that are all destined to be crushed?? Seems to me that there are alot of poorer folks that could use those clunkers. Maybe we could give some of them to illegal aliens to drive back to Mexico.
