Some of you are replacing the column shifter and others are replacing the throttle assembly...
Help...I'm having the exact same problem with no throttle response (I did not notice the gauges working or not). The problem is getting worse but if I'm patient I can usually get it working again until the next stop light (and now it's so bad it's happening at most stop lights). The fact that I can get it working again tells me that my problem is NOT a fuse (but please tell me if my logic is flawed). What fuse should I be checking anyway? Nothing in my manual is labeled Idle Validation Switch. I'm going to go out and pull the column cover to inspect the wires but please someone feel free to chime in...is the problem wires in the column (column shifter assembly) or the throttle assembly? If there is not an obvious broken wire in the column how would I diagnose?
