Is it still under warranty? If so, I'd get it in and see if you're not having other issues in the rearend. fwiw, I had to have all new rear wheel bearings put in on my 2000 F250, right at around the 50k mile mark. At that point, I don't think I had towed anything any heavier than a 2,000 pound trailer. Might be worth checking. just my .02 cents worth

Thanks for the info I think that it may have to much backlash in the pinion. Has anyone else with the 08 year model noticed this on there truck? I have been reading and think I want to restack the clutch stacks for more traction as well. Have you tried doing that and if so is it a lot of work,can it be done without taking the whole diff out and a part?
