Kingman, AZ, and Oatman, AZ are each a must see. Route 66 from Kingman west to Oatman will be a lot of fun on bikes. It's scenic and twisty.
Seligman, AZ, is what I think the creators of the movie Cars used as their model for Radiator Springs.
A bit off Route 66 is Lake Havasu City, AZ. The Colorado River was dammed at Parker, AZ, and created Lake Havasu. The London Bridge was purchased, disassembled, and shipped to Lake Havasu. Then it was built in the middle of the desert. After it was completed they cut a canal through it to the lake. The bridge now goes to the island that was created. It's another interesting thing to see out there, even though it is off the route.
Twenty miles west of Kingman on I40 is what used to be the Ford Arizona Proving Ground. I spent a lot of time there, some of it exploring the area. It's between Kingman and Lake Havasu. When we went there some of us preferred Kingman, and some Lake Havasu.
