Questions about WMO in 7.3 IDI, airplane engine oil...

First things first... in my sig you see what I drive... 7.3 IDI 222k miles and she runs beatifully.

I have HUNDREDs and HUNDREDS of gallons of engine oil from airplanes sitting around, and this whole WMO is very new (and interesting) to me. Airplane oil rarely has much water in it, or coolant, and the oil I have has been sitting for a loonngg time... upwards of 6 months.

I am not planning on running 100%, just 50/50 in both tanks... or 100% diesel in front and 50/50 in the rear tank. Is that nessessary, or is 50/50 in both fine? Im from FL, rarely gets too cold here, so is heating entirely needed too??

Here is my issue.... filtering. I am no handyman when it comes to building 55 gallon drum filtering systems. It would have to be bare-bones easy for me to do this. What is going to be the easiest way for me to filter it. I know about the 1 micron filter "sheets" you can buy, but what is the most effective way for a non experienced guy to do this. I dont WANT to go out and buy a bunch of stuff to do it either if thats possible, since I dont know if I would keep this filtering oil deal up for very long!!

Thanks for your time!
