Well, all I can tell you is my experiences, in the real world. I have run into a few new ('08-09's) with Chevy's, Dodges and Ford 6.4's. the only one I have not whipped totally is a Ford 6.4, BUT, I was towing an empty 4-wheeler trailer and the 6.4 was empty. It was dead even from a stop light to whatever. All of the others were a solo situation and was up a bodatious hill and they didn't stand a chance. If you tow a bunch and want a gasser, better get a 4.30 or a 4.88, otherwise, the standard 4.10, which is what I have, will do you fine. All I know is that if I do ever have to work on my V-10, I won't need to lift the friggin cab to do it. Also, I haven't had the first regen incident and my maintenance costs are less than $29.95 every 4,000 miles. What about you diesel dudes??
