Well I must report that I got my truck into a dealer today with the slip or bump problem and got it fixed!!! The first dealer had no one to fix it, second dealer said that it was normal(go figure that), and third dealer listen, and drove the truck compared it to a new one. The problem is that the slip yoke needed greasing. I had called myself greasing the slip yoke but I guess not the way he did it. He took the slip yoke out a part and cleaned it with brake cleaner first then applied the blue teflon grease (heavy) to the yoke splines working in by sliding the yoke on the drive shaft until it took the grease in. It worked no more bump or slip feeling in the diff. He also ruled the basklash in the diff at my request. Iam still inclinded to change the oil in the diff to synthic without L/S additive so it will hook up more and not slip so easy. Thanks for all the help that was giving on this problem.
