ZRed...I meant to reply to your post as well. The mechanic that did the oil cooler/egr cooler replacement has mentioned that a clogged up catalytic converter could be the issue as well, and since it's now out of warranty that just removing it might help.
That may be the next step...or at least considered as an option after I do some research into whether or not this issue is transmission related.
