Stoked50....I got curious about you stating that "at least now it will sound like a leer jet" with the cat pulled off, so I did some you tube look ups and saw/heard what you were talking about on those videos. Mine didn't sound anything like that with the cat pulled off. When the cat was pulled out, the mechanic replaced it with just a piece of pipe...which of course connected from there back to the muffler. Wonder why mine didn't sound anything like a leer jet....it just sounded like it always has. Is there any way possible my lack of the leer jet sound has anything to do with my issues? What causes the leer jet sound when the cat is removed?
