I've got a guy who is giving me the oil he collects off of a group of old rotary piston engines from a few planes he cares for.
He said it could be very dirty, but nothing i can't clean out.
He also told me about an aircraft oil that is used somewhere, i'll have to ask the name of it again, but its very corrosive outside of the engines it was designed for. He said it would tear the hell out of my fuel system and all related parts very quickly. I'll get more info in the next few days when i see him again.
