Fortunately, Ford at least, has addressed this in their new 6.7 powerstroke engine for 2011. And I do believe the others will (or already have) as well. My understanding is that the regen cycle will utilize a "dedicated" injector in the exhaust so that the fuel-oil dilution problem goes away.
