I believe that your truck actually weighs in the 7600-8000# range, empty. Which when added to 18k puts you over your CGWR.

Your truck is rated for 16,400# fifthwheel/gooseneck trailer. Around 12,500# conventional (ball or pintle)trailer.

I think your biggest problem will be stopping. Not enough truck to stop a 18k trailer with less than perfect brakes.
