My old 7.3 was tuned and ran substantialy better with an intake. My top tune only added 100hp so I think a no matter what tune you use, added air flow helps. Less restriction no matter on what level increases power.
All the searching I have done describes CEL's coming on with an intake. I was thinking of just using a drop in filter. Are people still haveing trouble setting off the CEL's with a drop in? If so, what filter were you using?
