The point is, things are hard to compare when you do the old "Apples to Oranges" thing. When you don't consider your time, your space invested, etc, etc, it is going to be way cheaper. Obviously, your time is not worth a thing since you figured you saved $105 and it wasn't in the equation. This would be akin to saying that since my dad gives me gas for free and fixes the car for free, my operation costs is very low and therefore car X is a good car to own.
My opinion. If it differs from yours, live with it.
