Probably not the same issue, but I had poor towing performance. Brought it in, thinking EGR or turbo issues. PIcked it up, and they had replaced the FICM. Work order shows FICM was only putting out 29V when it is supposed to be 48V. Symptoms for me were no power towing, especially going up hills, excessibly high turbo psi, but otherwise it ran good. Towed this past weekend, and hills that the tranny used to downshift on, no longer do with power to spare.

Just a thought...
