While I don't agree with going after anyone who was following orders from the POTUS, your example has nothing to do with making us "safer."
It is a much larger issue on how we interrogate instead of torture. Which by the way, torture is still.................. and should be..........illegal.

Show me a single bill/legislation that has been passed and how that has directly led to us being more 'unsafe.'
Not to say it shouldn't though as the Patriot Act has some real problems. What really cracks me up is you guys who whine and cry about 'Big Government'....except when it comes to spying on American citizens.
