Thought that I would share this with the posters here on this forum.

Yesterday 10/8/09 I took the oldest son (36) over to a salvage yard to get some parts,(pull your own parts type place) and while there this is what happened.

A young man, say about 23 pulled in to the lot in a Trooper towing a Chyrsler on a tow dolly. Now the fun starts.

By the looks of things He used a com-along to get the car up on the tow dolly, so he unhooked it then getting back in his truck, suv he hits the gas to pull forward to get the car off, does this 3 times and no joy any one of the times.

He must be employed by this place because he goes and moves a pickup truck from infront of the building to behind the car still on the dolly, must say here that I thought that he was going to use the truck as an anchor to get the car off the dolly.. nope that was not the plan that he had. Next he moves a car out of the way and gets the forklift and brings it over.

First he gets the forks under the car and lifts up, ok he is going to pull the dolly out,, nope ,, he first tries to pull the Car off the dolly, but it is not high enough to clear the dolly tire... sets it back down... does some thing and then lifts it high enough to clear the dolly wheels.

This man turned a 3 minute job into a half hour..

Wish that I had my camera there, and mind you all the while I am watching this out the corner of my eye, as I was working really hard not to laugh all the while.
