Ken..yeah, fmc said sometime ago..poor fuel can cause coking & use stanadyne perf./m.c additive or ? which may help. If tec. stated ONLY poor fuel can cause coking that would contradict..FMC TSB 06-4-12..which lists a BUNCH of things that can cause/contribute to coking. So..

For argument sake...poor fuel is responsible for coking = fmc not responsible, but gonna give you a break this time & fix under warr. Some use additive/some dont, I do. Maybe worthwhile if your getting fuel from many diff. place's. If same place all the time you need to ask about their fuel quality (cetane) etc. JMO! Good luck.
