Follow-up on Coil Spring issue - Thanks!

Thanks for all of your help - some info for you.
2wd Excursion coil springs are indeed an obsolete part from Ford. I contacted Ford directly as well as 5 dealerships throughout the continental US and there are none in stock anywhere.
Those two websites - powerstrokeshop and ford discounted parts are both Ford dealerships using a different name to sell online and didn't have any as well.
I located a set (atleast I am hoping) at a junkyard in South Carolina and they are being shipped to New Jersey as we speak.
Still not sure what broke the thing but we love the X and will never get rid of it. My last resort and it is still not out becuase I am still not driving it is a Fabtech 4in lift. So if it comes to that I guess I will have to get some bigger tires too.
Thanks again for all of your help - I was able to check alot of different places I would not have known about with the forum.
