They are also putting a kit in the turbo because it is also sticking. What a bunch of crap. Now Ford is blaming the fuel for EGR problems? Has anyone else been told to use a fuel additive to stop EGR problems or is this something to get out of warranty claims?

Interesting -- I use Motorcraft Cetene Booster in my 2004 F250 and I know it has helped my lack of power issues. But it did not help the EGR problem and I have gone through three of them, all under warranty. Never have heard before they would only replace one. When my dealer gave me the short answer "we can't find the problem", I wrote to the CEO/President of FMO, got a call from his executive office as well did my Ford dealer, a appointment was set up to fix my truck and the directions were given my Ford dealer by the FMO 6.0 engineer. Don't let them mess with you. Take it up the chain. Good luck. LAZYL
