Do not try and move the pitman arm. They make longer "dropped" pitman arms just for trucks that are lifted. Any lift kit company should be able to supply one. If it is off by a VERY slight amount, you can adjust the draglink, but with a 6" lift I think a dropped pitman arm is the best bet.
