The E Brake shoes engage the Rotor. There is a rubber plug buried in the back surrounded by support brackets..The star wheel is in there. Mine came off with some tapping but now I need to adjust the star wheels for EBrake and like an idiot I didn't write down which way to turn the star wheel to tighten. I can't turn the wheel by hand to check drag because it's too hard for me to turn..I'm just going to turn the star wheel until I get Resistance and see if the parking brake pedal is firm and wheels are locked I guess.
