I've read about this recall for sometime now....
I've got a Y2K Diesel with 177K on it, and took it in recently to have the
Cruise switch fixed....
What they told me, was it did NOT apply to diesels...
However, they did want to replace my CPS, which has been working fine for the last 9 years....I do however carry 2 in the glove box, for the just in case requirement..
I've read about the fire hazard as it applys to the switch...
But this was quite some time ago....
I don't know what to make of all this....
