Just had it in the shop for diagnostics all electronics checked out and they told me it is something internally in the tranny, they say forward clutches possibly.

I found my PCM, on the vans it's under the blower motor on the pass. side.
Pull your pan and take a look out the solenoid pack. Mine had metal powder on top which shorted it out and burned the circuit board. Ultimate failure on mine was the front seal blew out, probably from the converter getting hot trying to drive in only second and third. The seal actually worked it's way about half out of the front pump. The EPC solenoid is on that pack as well, it's the pressure control solenoid and when it fails the trans builds max pressure from what I can tell. Pump working extra hard, converter working extra hard, all of that causes a lot of heat. I'd pull the codes on my own to confirm since having 2, 3 and R sounds more like no power to the tranny or a burnt solenoid pack than bad forward clutches. I mean how bad can the forward clutches be if your truck will start off in 2 or 3?
