one other issue I wanted to address was the options. it was said that if you compared today's trucks to the trucks of 20 years ago you would see fewer options.....HUH? I strongly disagree, there are far more options on every single aspect of these trucks, the only place you have a legitament complaint is the manual transmission, but even then, lets compare the automatics to the transmissions from even 10 years ago, this new trans will have a feature that will allow you to manually select what gear you want, they look to be making it as easy as possible for the driver, if it just boils down to the fact that you have to have that feeling of moving the stick from gear to gear then sorry, join the other 2% that cares. the interiors of these trucks are literally 10 times what they were 20 years ago, the motors and electronics are far better, Ford offers by far the most configurations than any other truck brand, to say they don't offer enough is just ludicrous. i can't believe the complaining i'm reading from some of these people, I was pumped after watching all those youtube videos of the new truck, then I come on here and read nothing but complaints. Amazing.
Go ahead and buy a 2010 dodge, sure, it will have a stick but it won't compare to the super duty, the cummins is great and all but that's it, go ahead and buy a chevy, the d-max and allison....oops, you don't want the ally, I don't believe GM has a stick either, but , lets say they do, go ahead and buy one, see how much you can tow, you will certainly have a lot less truck that has the weakest front end and nowhere near the options ford has.
